The Walker Companies earns Site Selection magazine's William Dorsey Service Provider Award.
Atlanta, GA - The Walker Companies, an Atlanta based industrial consulting and real estate firm, just received Site Selection magazine's William Dorsey Service Provider Award. The Walker Companies were presented the award at a ceremony during the recent IDRC Fall World Congress in Dallas, Texas.
The William Dorsey Service Provider Award recognizes the real estate profession's elite service provider organizations for their work in solving company's most vexing business problems while raising the client service bar. The Walker Companies received the award for their work for Continental General Tire by leading the site selection and development of Continental General's 750,000 square foot build-to-suit distribution center in Gainesville, Georgia. Walker was also retained by Continental General to handle a similar project in the Midwest. A second 750,000 square foot distribution center is under construction in Columbus, Ohio.
