Cyril Leonard’s Business Rates Department acts on behalf of a wide range of clients

Cyril Leonard works on behalf of clients to mitigate their business rates liability
wherever possible. This involves dealing with both the valuation and liability calculation
aspects of the subject.

- Valuation of commercial property for rating purposes
- Submission and subsequent negotiation of appeals against rating assessments
- Representation of cases at both Valuation and Lands Tribunals where appropriate
- Management of clients’ rates liabilities and liaison with Local Authorities
- Providing strategies for the mitigation of rates liabilities in respect of wholly
or partially vacant buildings
